Francesco DiCosmo lays down some killer bass work on Evanescence's anthemic track "Bring Me To Life." And, though his playing is fairly simple, it's powerfully effective.
A keyboard bass part occasional muddies the line between bass and keyboard, but DiCosmo nevertheless manages to stamp his mark on the track with aplomb.
The slapped sections and fingerstyle sections often require a quick change between the two styles. (My suspicion is that there were a few punch-ins here between certain sections, but there's no shame in that!) :-)
