Fender Jazz Bass

As soon as a I clapped eyes on this instrument, I knew I had to have it: Gear Acquisition Syndrome, pure and simple.

It's a second-hand, easy-playing, classic-sounding, stock MIM affair that came strung with a nice set of flatwounds (which will likely remain in place forever, if not longer.)

Waiting in the wings: a Babicz full-contact bridge (dying to know how it compares to a Bad Ass II); a tortoiseshell pickguard (de rigueur with Lake Placid Blue) and a recently scored set of NJ4 Nordstrand PUs.
